Stage Technique

Semester times vary from 10 weeks to 13. This class is dedicated to fixing bad habits and teaching the art of stage craft. Knowledge and control of all types of shimmies are a must. There is no set syllabus, as each semester will depend on what the class needs to work on at that point in time. Mastery of finger cymbals is required.

EMMERCENCI AS AN EGYPTIAN STAR

This semester everyone will pick a star and create an entrance piece in her style. Final performances will be at Mem Sahib the Wednesday before the final class so we can go over the footage together at the end. Try to bring your intro music to class every week. Here is the list of dancers already chosen:
